of New England (PNA-NE) Website!
The PNA-NE represents nurses from the following states:


Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire,
Rhode Island, and Vermont

Mission Statement:

We strive to increase the visibility, viability and vitality of the organization by maximizing the potential and contribution of the officers and members of this organization.

Background:

The Philippine Nurses Association of New England, (PNANE) is a nonprofit professional organization whose objective is to uphold the image and preserve the cultural contributions of Filipinos and Filipino American Nurses in the New England area. Founded in 1990, PNANE is committed to volunteerism, stewardship of professional talent, expertise and experience by developing programs that focus on the professional needs of its members and health care needs of the community. Through its programs and collaboration with other organizations, the Philippine Nurses Association of New England, Inc. will maintain the purposes below.

  • Promote and advance nursing education with focus on the learning needs of Filipino nurses.
  • Improve the quality of health care through the promotion of excellence in nursing practice and the nursing profession.
  • Foster cohesiveness and colleagueship among nurses in New England and establish a communication network within the Filipino nursing community.
  • Improve the image of not only Filipino nurses but nurses in general.
  • Finally, to cooperate with other nursing organizations in carrying out these purposes and promoting the goals of the nursing profession.
